The following conference is
being organised by tCORE:
PREP 2004 - This is a 3 day
conference being held at Herfordshire University between 7 and 9 April
2004. The conference is targeted at post graduate research in the
fields of electronics, photonics, computing science and
communications and networks. There
are 250 free places for post graduate students, including
accommodation, meals, conference dinner and entertainment.

Update
tCORE receives Smart
Award
tCORE was awarded a DTI
SMART award on 23 October 2001. The prestigious annual regional
Smart awards ceremony, held at the national Glass Centre in
Sunderland, UK showcased an excellent array of innovative ideas.
The awards were presented
by BBC's Wendy Gibson and the high quality of the 18 winning
projects testifies to the fact that the region is continuing a proud
tradition of innovation.
Major Collaborative
Project Launched
The major EU partially
funded programme, PROCURE, of which tCORE is a partner, was launched
in October 2001 with a kick-off meeting in Bordeaux, France. See
