Research is a major activity at tCORE:

We have a SMART Award  (Special Merit Award for Research and Technology) from the UK Government for the development of novel high temperature lead free solders for high temperature electronic applications.

We are part of an international consortium developing the next generation of high temperature passive components primarily for the automotive and petroleum industries.

We are working closely with another international consortium to develop the next generation of high temperature semiconductor devices also aimed primarily at the automotive industry.

We carry out small research and consultancy contracts for the electronic components and interconnection industries often focusing on production and quality issues.
